The Office of Planning and Research coordinates continuous improvement activities at North Carolina Wesleyan College, including accreditation; academic program assessment and review; strategic planning and analysis; institutional research and reporting; and course evaluation
Gathers data through a variety of means in support of campus needs and priorities.
Collects, summarizes, and disseminates data for internal use, and for external purposes such as:
- required state and federal reporting
- reporting to various agencies and consortia (e.g. NCICU, SACS-COC, NCAA)
- college-approved third-party admissions guidebooks and rankings systems
Provides summary information of internal assessment data and relevant external data (e.g. peer data, national trends) to support management decisions.
