Adult & Professional Studies Application Process

STEP 1:

Apply at no cost to you online here.  Make sure you choose the location and degree program you are interested in as well as provide your complete contact information.

STEP 2:

Submit official college transcripts from all previously attended colleges. Electronic transcripts can be sent to adultstudies@ncwu.edu. Physical copies can be mailed to our main campus, attention Adult Studies/Welcome Center.

STEP 3:

If you have less than 12 college credits, submit your high school transcript.

STEP 4:

Once accepted, schedule a new student orientation with your advisor.

STEP 5:

Not required for admissions, but recommended that all students complete a Free Federal Application for Financial Aid at http://www.studentaid.gov/ (FAFSA school code 002951) regardless if you plan to take out loans.

Eligibility for Adult Studies

  • Have completed an application to the appropriate location
  • At least 21 years of age. The Vice President of Enrollment may waive this requirement.
  • Background check (for Rocky Mount students only)
