ROCKY MOUNT, NORTH CAROLINA—The DeLeon Carter Foundation recently presented North Carolina Wesleyan College with a check for $7,500, which represents the second installment toward the foundation’s commitment of $25,000 to name the student lounge in Wesleyan’s 40 single-bed Bradley residence hall.
The funds were used to furnish the lobby with couches, chairs, tables, a television, microwave, stove, dishwasher and refrigerator. Gus Tulloss, Foundation Board Chairman, presented the check to Eddie Coats, Wesleyan College Vice President of Advancement. “We extend our deepest gratitude to the Board for their continued support of education and other key concerns in the local community. This gift greatly enhances the living and educational experience of NC Wesleyan students.”
