Overview & Academics

Web design and development, programming, networking, and security are the pillars of the Computer Information Systems degree. Students will learn to work with the rapidly changing technological landscape and will also take part in ethics courses and projects that serve our local community.

Major Requirements
ACC 201; BUS 206; ENG 304; MAT 213; CIS 201, 205, 211, 240, 345, 410, and 455; CIS electives (12 upper-level semester hours) not including CIS 101, 310 or 350.

Minor Requirements
CIS 201, 205, 211, 240, and six semester hours of 300-400 level CIS courses not including 310.
