We would like to introduce you to our international Bishops in Love, alumni couple: Artsiom Prostak '14 & Kristin Seidel '12.

Artsiom, originally from Belarus, and Kristin, originally from Germany, joined the Bishop family in 2009! They both played on the NC Wesleyan tennis teams, worked as Show Pros for the Dunn Center for the Performing Arts and had the same major, Business Administration. They started dating in 2011. After graduation, they stayed in the U.S. working for a few years and became engaged in April 2015!

In May 2015 they decided to move to Germany. They both live in Germany now. Kristin is working in sales and marketing for a worldwide abrasives company and Artsiom is working in sales for the automotive industry.

"Wesleyan was a great experience for both of us. We love the small community because you pretty much knew everyone by name. It was really familiar and we felt welcomed from the beginning. We still have contact with lots of people we met at Wesleyan and miss being there, especially our favorite ladies from the Dunn Center!"

We are pleased to introduce our Bishops in Love, alumni couple: John Brackett '88 & Suzanne Brackett '87.

This love story began when a roommate, Ellen Skiles Henriksen and a basketball teammate, Jack Martine thought that Suzanne and John would make a good couple. It all started during Suzanne's junior year and John’s sophomore year. John played basketball and Suzanne was a cheerleader, so they knew “of” each other. Ellen told Suzanne that John was interested and at the same time, Jack was telling John that Suzanne was interested too! Years later they realized that neither one of them had actually said anything about being interested!

Looking back on those days the Bracketts said "our friends were so persistent that we both gave in and the rest is history. We will be married 29 years on May 20th! We have two children, Michael (24) and Ashlee (17). We are so thankful for Ellen and Jack, who were able to see what we didn’t at first!!"
