What is your favorite aspect of working at Wesleyan?
I enjoy working at NC Wesleyan because the college has always been a part of my life! My mother graduated from here and often brought me to campus as a child. I attended Wesleyan and graduated in 2013. Now, my younger sister is continuing the bishop tradition! I appreciate Wesleyan for the role it has played in my family’s life. I know the best is yet to come for our students and our institution and I’m glad that I get to be a part of it!

What is your favorite aspect of working at Wesleyan?
I enjoy working at Wesleyan because of the history I have here. I came here as a student in 2006 and graduated in 2010. During my time, I was a student ambassador and was the president of one of our campus ministries. I also met my wife while attending and we got married two weeks after she graduated. Now as an employee, I get to witness new students building their own Wesleyan history.

What is your favorite aspect of working at Wesleyan?
My favorite aspect of working at Wesleyan is the interaction that I have with a diverse group of students, and being able to have an impact on their success. I’m proud to be an alum of the College, and to offer those same services and strategies that was once given to me.

What is your favorite aspect of working at Wesleyan?
Our students make working at NC Wesleyan a rewarding experience. Advisors meet students who are at the beginning of their journey, we see them grow and accomplish their educational goals. If they are able to use something  we have taught, resources we have shared, or just know that we are here for them, then I believe we have made a difference.  The best part is watching them receive their diploma, knowing they have faced challenges, worked hard, and reached their goal.  I always look forward to hearing about their successes after they graduate.

What is your favorite aspect of working at Wesleyan?
I love working in the Student Support Center at North Carolina Wesleyan College because everyone shares the same vision and is dedicated to the mission. There is a family environment where everybody is there for each other. The SSC collaborates together successfully with the same focus, the same goals, and willingness to do the work to move the team forward. I am glad I am on the NCWC winning team!!

What is your favorite aspect of working at Wesleyan?
I love working at Wesleyan because they re-invest into their students. Many of my colleagues were undergraduate students here themselves. That fact alone speaks to the tight-knit community and pride that Wesleyan takes in the students they develop. Additionally, I enjoy having a diverse community of International students that I can support and also be small piece of their large journey in coming to the States to obtain an education. Lastly, I enjoy having a wonderful work/family/ life balance and being a part of such a wonderful supportive team!
