Adjunct Faculty Positions (Adult Student Programs ASPIRE)


ASPIRE courses are generally offered in an 8 week or 5 week, accelerated format through evening classes. Instructors interested in applying should submit an Adjunct Faculty Application and copies of transcripts directly to the Academic Affairs Executive Assistant for consideration. Adjunct faculty instructors must have a minimum qualification of a Masters Degree with 18 semester hours of graduate work in the subject area they are interested in teaching to be considered; a PhD in the subject field is highly desirable.

Adjunct Faculty-Manteo


NC Wesleyan College will be offering a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree and a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Administration degree on the Dare County campus of the College of The Albemarle (Manteo, NC) starting in January 2014. The Adult Student Program (ASPIRE) of North Carolina Wesleyan College expects to have future teaching needs in the following areas with the minimum degree required:

  • Business (Doctoral degree preferred, masters required)
  • English (Doctoral degree preferred, masters required)
  • Mathematics (Doctoral degree preferred, masters required)
  • Political Science (Doctoral degree preferred, masters required)
