LIVE Presentation and Discussion online about “Cultural Norms in NCAA Sports” A discussion about the current climate of violence, rivalries, collective effervescence and chants in today’s sporting events. Taught by Associate Professor of Sociology at NC Wesleyan, Dr. Kaitlin Pericak. Dr. Pericak did her doctoral thesis on the topic of researching NCAA Sports and these behaviors. The Wesleyan Cup is an annual golf tournament where area businesses, alums and the Wesleyan community come together for a day of fun and fellowship on the golf course.  All Wesleyan Cup proceeds will support the Wesleyan Fund, which is an unrestricted annual giving account that allows the university to provide the best overall experience for our current students.

On Saturday morning, head over to the Rocky Mount Event Center and take in the excitement and festivities of Commencement 2023! Your class will lead the processional into graduation, and NCWU will ceremoniously honor you with an official induction into the Golden Bishops Circle. Following Commencement, you’ll come back to campus to enjoy a BBQ luncheon at our new Indoor Sports and Education Facility, a visit to the bookstore and a campus tour. Come see for yourself how North Carolina Wesleyan University is continuing the legacy that you helped create! Luncheon Cost $25 per person.
