For the Love of Liberty: The Story of America’s Black Patriots 

Join us as North Carolina Wesleyan University and the City of Rocky Mount present the Wesleyan and surrounding communities with a special Black History Month event honoring the sacrifices and accomplishments of African American servicemen and women. The event will include a one-hour viewing of the award-winning documentary series, For the Love of Liberty: The Story of America’s Black Patriots. This documentary series honors heroic men and women who, despite enormous injustice, fought so valiantly for freedoms they themselves did not enjoy. General Gordon-Bray will then hold a discussion and Q&A to examine the award-winning documentary series.
