FAQs

What is A Day for Wesleyan?

A 24-hour opportunity on Tuesday, March 26, 2024 to show your Bishop Pride and benefit the University. This year, our goal is to raise $130,000 from the support of our alumni and other donors. For more information, visit dayforwesleyan.com.

Who can participate?

Everyone can support A Day for Wesleyan by making a gift of any amount.

Why is A Day for Wesleyan participation important?

Alumni giving, in particular, is a measurement used by many national publications and external groups, including magazines like U.S. News and World Report, when ranking colleges and universities across the southeastern United States. Alumni giving participation is an indicator of satisfaction thus improving the ranking. So, participation in A Day for Wesleyan is important because everyone benefits when everyone participates.

What type of gifts are accepted?

Cash, checks and credit cards towards new and additional gifts on or before March 26, 2024. If your employer has a matching gift program, these matching gifts are also applicable. Not sure if your employer participates in the matching gift program?

Visit ncwu.edu/give/double-the-donation to confirm.
