North Carolina Wesleyan College Hires New Director of Student Activities

ROCKY MOUNT, NORTH CAROLINA— North Carolina Wesleyan College recently named Dan Elliott Smith as Director of Student Activities. In his new role, Smith is responsible for organizing, developing, and implementing student programming on campus and in the community. He will also help guide and develop the student organizations and manage the Hartness Student Center. “I am confident that Elliott’s skill set and relational approach will allow him to excel at this role,” stated Jessie Langley, Associate Dean of Students for Campus Life, “He is a nice fit with our community.”

Smith earned his master’s and undergraduate degrees from Bob Jones University in Practical Christian Training and Pastoral Studies. He has a background in youth programming and facility management as well as in logistics, with one of his most relevant work experiences including a 5 year stint as Director of Youth Services for Good News Mission in Indianapolis, Indiana
